Important Notice: Update to Service Fees for Singapore Registered Fundraisers
At SimplyGiving, we are committed to supporting the incredible work of charities in Singapore and beyond. As part of our ongoing efforts to maintain and improve our platform, we wish to inform you of an important update regarding our service fees.
Effective from 1 December 2024, SimplyGiving's service fee for Singapore registered fundraisers will revert to our standard rate of 5%. For the past years, we have waived this fee, charging 0% and instead implementing “Optional Tips”, to provide additional support to Singapore-based causes. However, to ensure we can continue enhancing our technology and offer high-quality service to all our users, we must reinstate our standard fees.
We understand that fundraising success is crucial to the important causes you champion. That’s why we want to remind you that fundraisers can still benefit from our DonorPays feature, even with this change in the service fee.
DonorPays allows donors to cover SimplyGiving’s service fee on your behalf. In fact, in our experience, most donors choose to opt into this feature, meaning that the service fee will not be deducted from the funds you raise. This ensures that you receive even more funds to support your cause! If a donor chooses DonorPays, the only applicable fees will be the standard payment gateway processing charges (credit/debit card or PayPal fees).
